Residential Wellness Workshop (2021 dates TBC)
The workshop is taught by Lucy Walford
The workshop is held at Casa Creativa and around Lagos.
A 5-day workshop of Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and Relaxation in the heart of Lagos providing the chance to find space and reset, take a break from the day- to- day and explore new ways of being.
Two Yoga/pilates practices will be held daily exploring body and mind connection as well as a focus session pre-lunch giving insight into Mindfulness, positive psychology and the way our brains work and how we can use them to bring more happiness and joy to our lives. A nurturing and safe environment to relax and explore new ways of being and an experienced teacher to provide support and help development and transformation.
You'll leave not only feeling refreshed and energised, with new coping mechanisms in your tool kit, mindfulness techniques you can use going forward and new friends and connections.
Included in the workshop price:
- Accommodation at Casa Creativa for 6 nights in a private ensuite room (arrive Sunday after 14:00 - depart following Saturday)
- Breakfast, Lunch and daytime refreshments (Monday to Friday)
- Evening meals with your fellow students at various local restaurant in Lagos, all within a 5-minute walk. (Monday to Friday)
- One local excursion per week
- A free registration to your ‘Online Casa Creativa Workshop Forum’ (You can chat with your tutor and fellow students 1 month before your workshop begins, so you feel well prepared for your workshop ahead)
Not included in the price:
- Flights and airport transfers

Lucy’s Biography
Lucy is a fully qualified YA500 Yoga teacher and has been teaching for over 10 years. Lucy trained both in the UK and internationally, teaching thousands of students, in group classes, work-shops, retreats and on a one to one basis. Lucy is also a qualified Pilates instructor, teaches mindfulness meditation, positive psychology and is a qualified NLP life coach.
Lucy’s approach to yoga and wellbeing is fun, relaxed and inclusive, she aims to provide students with the best understanding of not just what they are doing but why, the benefits and how to introduce this into a lifestyle to create long-term change.
Wellness retreats are a wonderful balance, utilising all of Lucy’s knowledge, run in a relaxed, engaging and fun way. You will learn about the body, mind and breath and how to effectively create more balance in your life, leading to a happier, healthier you.
